2. Down to freezing? That’s barely jacket weather, let alone down jacket weather! Especially when hiking! Definitely not worth an expensive down jacket. Your very cold is “below freezing”? I live in Missouri and it’s not very cold here compared to north and west and it’s below freezing most days between Dec-Feb and a lightweight jacket is fine. This is ridiculous.

5. i have a rab micro and rab nuetrino,,,fabulous jacket…very warm,,light as hell…very durable…pricey but worth it.
