  1. The other doorbell camera you mentioned (Eufy) also has HDR you just have it disabled in your example. A few seconds later you briefly show the Reolink without the HDR on and its way worse than the Eufy feed you showed. You gotta compare like for like.

  2. Giving control of these crucial components to big tech companies is, by far, the most foolish thing I’ve seen today. Wow, yeah, go ahead and buy a lock that you cannot use without the app, giving up all your sovereignty. Not to mention cameras sending out unencrypted data to their servers. You gotta smarten yourself before you smarten your home.

  3. I want to add 7 months later, the Ikea zigbee contact sensor does work, so do the buttons. I am using both with zigbee2mqtt into HA. Ikea is also now moving to Matter over thread devices. They have a thermometer/hydrometer for under $20 that I like. Also a new Air quality / CO2 tester.

  4. 20€ for a motion sensor is not Budget for me. 3.8€ motion sensor from aliexpress with eWeLink zigbee 3.0 are Budget for me, they work perfect for me in the Toilett, kitchen and some other rooms
